Messiah’s Congregational Care Ministry’s mission is to witness in a ministry of care to one another through acts of love.

Congregational Care offers encouragement, practical support and prayer to people in need; needs that are spiritual, emotional, physical and relational. It is our desire to meet the needs of those who connect to Messiah, as directed by scripture.

“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you should also love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciple, if you have love for one another.” -John 13:34-35

We are networked through acts of compassion, visitation (Parish Nurse Ministry and Congregational Caregivers), encouragement (Barnabas Ministry), prayer (Prayer Chain Ministry and Prayer Shawl Ministry), Communion (shut-in Communion Ministry) and Pastoral Counseling.

Pastor Dick Ellis leads Messiah’s Congregational Care Ministry and you may contact him at or call 763-473-6968.
